Management Team

Mark Alexander
President

Mark co-founded 4Front Systems in the Raleigh, NC area with six other associates in 1999 and, in 2006, became President of DSi/4Front in Greensboro. He leads all locations to outstanding success with his knowledge, leadership skills and the culture he has created to attract outstanding employees.

Prior to 4Front, Mark was the VP of Sales for a local systems integrator. Mark provided the sales leadership that grew the company from $17 million to over $60 million in sales before leaving to start 4Front Systems. Mark was the East Coast Government Account Executive for Novell and from 1990 to 1995 Mark grew Novell’s government business by over 500%. From 1984 to 1990 Mark was the European Region Manager for a Federal DoD contractor. Mark had oversight of a business operation responsible for $50 million in sales of systems integration products and services throughout Germany, England, and Italy. Mark is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park, Maryland with a Bachelor of Science in Economics, Business and Computer Science.

Mark lives in Raleigh with his wife and daughter.



Steve Fitzhenry
Vice President

Steve co-founded 4Front Systems with six other associates in 1999 as Executive Vice President. He has helped the company grow to the successful company it is today, focusing on sales, marketing and operations. His current position of VP of Sales challenges him with the growth of the company in Raleigh, Charlotte, Greensboro and Wilmington.

Prior to 4Front, Steve was the Director of Commercial Sales at a local systems integrator. In this position he developed the commercial sales organization within an organization whose primary focus was public sector. His team grew sales 50% year over year for four years. Steve held several sales and management positions at other systems integrators in North Carolina dating back to 1985 and prides himself on building teams that focus on customers’ businesses, helping them achieve greater results through technology.

Steve graduated from East Carolina University with a BSBA in Management. He maintains his relationship with ECU through the Pirate Club and Programs at the School of Business. Steve is involved outside of work with many things; including, the TFS Home & School Committee, the YMCA, the Indian Princesses Program and the American Cancer Society. Steve lives in North Raleigh with his wife and three daughters.



Tom Steagall
Vice President for Contract Services

Tom co-founded 4Front Systems with six other associates in 1999 and was instrumental in growing the company’s Government and Education business for the first three years as the company’s GEM Sales Manager. He has spent the last three years building a Contract Services organization from the ground up. Today his group generates approximately $3.5 million in annual sales for the company.

Prior to 4Front, Tom worked for other local integrators, specifically selling to the Government and Education markets. He played a key role in significantly growing those markets for previous employers. Tom graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a major in Marketing from Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, North Carolina.

Tom lives with his wife and two children in Raleigh.



John Rinehart
Vice President of Professional Services

John Rinehart has recently joined 4Front Systems as VP of Professional Services. In this position John leads the technical team of 4Front Systems engineers serving the entire state. He will be essential in the continuing growth of 4Front Systems and DSi, the state’s Xcelecom Technology Solutions companies.

Rinehart was previously at Sprint where he was General Manager of the Advanced Technical Assistance Center in Overland Park, Kansas. In that position, he led a team of technical professionals who supported business customers that purchased IP Telephony and other complex voice solutions. He also successfully managed growth demands presented by a 250% increase in Sprint’s hospitality customer base over the past two years.

Previous to this position Rinehart spent ten years in various leadership roles with Sprint, was a network engineer and a project engineer. He received a Master of Science in Management and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from NC State University. He holds many professional credentials and is active in community volunteer efforts. Rinehart, his wife Kathy and two children live in the Raleigh area.
