Job Title:   Senior Sales Representative

Position Summary
The primary responsibility of this position is to sell advanced technologies products and services of the company through a solution oriented project methodology.  The territory of this position will be the Charlotte market.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
• Cold calling into the assigned market to find new customers and projects.
• Account planning, strategic and tactical through independent research.
• Regular meetings with assigned customers to promote the solutions and services of the company.
• Work with internal and external resources to develop and sell new projects.
• Quoting of new projects.
• Accurate forecasting of the business through the tools of the company.

Secondary Responsibilities
• Attend and facilitate marketing events that are presented in the market by the company.
• Maintain customer and prospecting database in company tools.
• Attend company facilitated meetings.
• Assist in the upkeep of a professional facility in the market.
• Industry association(s) representation and participation.

Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
• Proven success of selling technology projects in the Charlotte market.
• Understanding of key technologies: LAN/WAN/Wireless, IPT, Security, Storage and Systems.
• College Education

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Manufacturer certifications – Example Cisco, Microsoft

Computer Skills
Need to have expertise in all Microsoft Office products – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet Explorer.  Have worked in remote desktop environment - Citrix environment.

Communication Skills, Reasoning Ability and/or Mathematical Skills
Ability to solve practical problems, excellent oral and written communications skills, ability to conduct group presentations.  Ability to calculate complex pricing in an Excel spreadsheet. Possess a fundamental understanding of financial statements and market economics.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
Working in a remote office will require employee to receive product, move boxes and store boxes.

NWN, a Microsoft and Citrix Gold Level Systems Integrator, is looking for an experienced MCSE 2000/2003 with Cisco skills to design, implement and support solutions for our State Government and Commercial Business Clients out of the Charlotte NC area. Prefer an engineer who has worked for a reseller/systems integrator and has billed his/her time as a consultant deploying Microsoft/Cisco solutions.
